I think that was is permitted because you are using an interface with something already on your computer. In the case of the census, you're connecting to an outside source via the Internet and its not restricted to information that's just on your computer.

On my mains: I travel. While I am on the bird I let the census run in the background. I run census everytime I am on a bird, or waiting for people for raids and whatnot. I turn off verbose mode so I don't get chat spammed by census and then just kinda chill, fish, fly, whatever. On my census alts: Y...
