A new error for me after the update - when a census started, the friends window popped up, but this time it showed the who pane, not the guild pane. Need to have a flying mount to start doing the dailies - if you can, find a good, rich and trusted friend to loan you the gold for your flyer, and pay them back with your daily quest money. That's what I did.
