TBC Beta uploads

Post by Rollie »

I am now accepting uploads to the beta side of WR:

http://beta.warcraftrealms.com/upload.php

And there's even some stats available already:

http://beta.warcraftrealms.com/census.p ... rtypeid=-1

You won't get upload credits for drawings for TBC uploads, and there is no auto process running so it only updates when I manually update, but it can at lleast accept the data now =)

Also, the beta side of WR is very incomplete. There are lots of features that do not exist or do not work.

At any rate, after just a preliminary few snapshots taken of th US PVE server, you can see that there are many more Blood Elves than Draenei, so it looks like Blizzard did a good job at presenting races to try to help balance out the Horde vs Alliance.

Also, I have added the EU PVE server Tempest Keep, but I don't know the name of the EU PVP server so if someone can let me know the name, I'd appreciate it =)

EU servers:

Bloodmyst (PVP)
Tempest Keep (PVE)
Shattrath (PVE)
Nagrand (PVE)

Yes, we've got three PVE servers, one for each language... which they kindly failed to mention on the character copy screen, so most of us who copied characters before the client fully downloaded have random characters stuck on wrong-language servers ;)

Uploading my file now, will be interesting to see the results on the site! Agree about being more Blood elves than Draenei; I haven't played on Horde much but my snapshots show lots and lots of Blood elves there, while on Alliance Draenei are still third behind humans and night elves. Obviously that includes all the transferred lvl 60s but still... clear difference I think.

Edit: Btw if you're not aware, the mod reckons Tempest Keep is a US server, at least it says US next to the locale when I bring the window up. Just in case that affects the processing at all - I know all the test servers are located in the US, even though the European ones are set aside for use with EU accounts. It's confusing ;)

Thanks for the server names!

Yeah, no worries on it thinking it's a US server, that's due to your login server url. No big deal for the beta side.

EDIT: although, it looks like the misrecognition of the EU servers is causing other problems. I'll keep you posted, but for right now, I can't process the EU data from the beta servers.

I sent in my data for you. It should have been 4 hours worth of playing time with it running every 5 mins. haha

I see Tempest Keep is working now - glad to see it! Although I'm guessing all the submissions are mine lol as it tallies rather closely to what I know I've submitted ;)

Thought as much, I've done three submissions and one was only late tonight :) Think my latest one has a quick take on Shattrath horde as well, I just logged on there once the other day and I think the census ran while I was there :)

Rollie, I was wondering if you are getting my submissions. I know you said they have to be manually updated by you, but it has been stuck at 30 for a week now. I just want to make sure my submissions are going through and working.

Yeah Tempest Keep hasn't changed since the 11th and I've made at least two submissions since then, if not three - I'm guessing it's a case of WTB an update ;)

Thanks! Looking good, I'm clearly the only Tempest keep player submitting anything though ;)
