When does Census+ record character info?

I have been around since Rollie launched this site almost. In that time I never stopped to ask or figure out just exactly when character info is gathered.

Is it just when the Census is taken?
Is it taken when you click on a person?
Is it taken whenever you run a who inquiry?
In cross-realm battlegrounds, does it record information for other realms?

Just some questions I had

The way it works currently is that it only collects data when a census is running, or when you do a manual /who.

That's it =)

No cross-realm info is collected.

so to be sure that your char is recorded or your guild: /who <yourname> or /who <yourguild>
