Yep, still having it happen since I updated Censusplus, mostly only when someone joins/leaves the guild, but as it's a large guild that does happen a bit! Only addons I have in common with TheDeamon are the CTMod ones and SCT, think I'm running much the same versions as well.

Another interesting thing I noticed for the first time last night that now makes me wonder if it's not Censusplus at all (although I've no idea what else it might be) is that if I close my character pane on my pet page, then mount (so pet disappears), when I dismount and my pet comes back the character pane pops up. Seems very like the guild pane thing, only I've not played my hunter for a bit so hadn't noticed it before :?

bizarre... unfortunately I don't have a lvl 40 hunter with mount to test that one out... Could be related to the guild thing though.

So you say it only happens when someone deguilds or is guilded? I had thought you meant it happened when someone logged off/on.

I have seen the pet page pop up on my hunter, but it only does so on occasion. I have not seen the guild page, but I haven't played my Druid much lately which is my only guilded character. That being said, my wife has also seen the pet page pop up, and she does not have Censusplus on her machine.

We only recently added Cartographer, and it was happening before it was added. Not sure if I have seen it since we added it, but we had atlas installed before.

Of the mods Balgair mentioned, I believe both my wife and I also have SCT, CTCore and CTMailMod in common. Not sure about the versions as I'm posting from work, but they have both been updated since 2.1.

Not "only", but that's the major trigger that I've noticed; it also happens sometimes when I use the mailbox, particularly when I start to type a name in to send a mail. Isn't related to people logging in and out, thankfully; that would drive me insane if it was!

That adds up very well with what I've observed; I hadn't considered CT_MailMod as a possible culprit, but now I think about it that does seem rather likely.

I'd love to know how on earth they manage to have any conflict though; I always thought the autocomplete name option was a Blizz UI thing, not CTMod? If it is CTMod that does the autocomplete based off guildmembers names, that would explain where the conflict is, though.

Yeah, blizzard has long taken features off popular custom UI things and included them in the default UI... although they're almost never as good as the mod itself :P I've used Ctmailmod since its inception (forwarding and bulk mailing are ridiculously useful), but I guess I've never duplicated the right circumstances for the problem.

Blah... was hoping the random guild pane opening was fixed (with the exception of the CT_Mailmod thing), but nope... guildie gets a rankchange, guild pane pops up.

So ok, leaving the social pane on the guild window causes it to pop up when something changes in the guild (people leaving, joining, having rank changed)... what I don't know is if it's actually Censusplus doing it or if it's either some other mod (or some other mod interacting with Census+ in a bad way) or just Blizz bugs. Not being a guild officer I can't spam promotes/demotes on demand to test further; anyone else got any ideas on this one? :?

I also still have troubles with C+. Can't figure out when or how. I don't have CTmod so thats not what is causes it for me.
It pops up now and then. Last week during a raid. Yesterday when I was soloing in Nagrand.
It is really very annoying. When you are at a vendor or questgiver, it constantly shut down the vendor/questgiver window when popping up every few minutes
I think it pops up after I opened the social window and maybe that was during a scan. Dunno. It doesn't pop up all the times I am playing, but when it does I am cursing at it.
Luckily I can drag the window out of the screen, so I only see the 'closing-cross'.

I still haven't had this problem, and I've run CTmod + Censusplus for quite some time. I even tried to create it by leaving the guild tab up when I'd close the social window, to no avail....

Yes TheDeamon, I tried those steps and didn't get a social pane pop.

I switched to my guild tab
I started a census
I mailed something to an alt.

No social window pop. I then logged out and logged back in and tried again, this time:

I started a census
I switched to my guild tab
I mailed something to an alt.

Still no social window pop.

However, does something have to happen in guild to make it pop? Nobody had joined/left the guild while I was on, although people did log in and out and nothing happened. Is that a condition or just a separate issue from the CTmailmod one?

Okay, I installed CT_MailMod and see the bug in action. Does it only happen the 1 time? If so, to be completely honest, I'm inclined to just leave it as an outstanding issue since I fear it would require some additional troublesome code to try to circumvent another mod issue.

Does the panel continue opening at a later point? Or only when you are at the mailbox? And only the first time you try it?
