Quick response from Rollie now the issue has been pinned down, he's removed the offending bit of advert code and it certainly seems far better to me when I log out, hoping that's got it fixed for everyone!

He says he plans to give the database a good clearout soon btw, in case that's also slowing things down, but he wants to make it MoP ready first, priorities :)

Oh mamma.. Speed have deffo increased... :shock:

I just came here to post about the increase in site speed. :)

Good to hear Rollie's come back around! That makes me much more optimistic about the future of the site! :D

And as of 13:30CDT today.. or a little before...
Rollie is doing major server (database) maintenance...
which is making site non-responsive..

Please learn to live with this for a bit of time...
as he needs to allocate more cpu cycles to database work then normal.

Probably also explains why forum was veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery slow last night ;)
