I last updated CTmailmod after 2.1 came out, so the latest version they had up as of 2 weeks ago or so. I check for updates to my mods every other day or so usually, especially the Ace ones since I can get them all at one place.

The only thing I can think of is my SendSelf mod, which basically autoadds your alts to the autocomplete list so you don't have to add all your alts to your friends list if they aren't all in the same guild.

Still happening for me - after closing the Social window at the Guild screen, it will open as soon as a census starts, and then keep opening every few seconds until I switch to a different scren in the window.

I have joined a guild and I see this issue in action... I will try to find out which mods may be causing this.... Hopefully

I don't have CT MailMod installed but the guild pane is the issue i am having.

Ok, so I still can't get the CTmailmod bug to work, but I've made peace with that

I did however get the other bug when somebody joined the guild... when I switched off of the guild tab to the friends tab, it didn't happen again even though somebody else joined the guild a little while later. So I guess that's my workaround for the moment

The Social pane is what is popping up. Its not just the Guild pane or Friends list only. Its the whole Social pane with all those tabs on it.

A work around for that issue seems to be to click on any of those tabs and just wait a second or two to let it update the tab.

For example click on the Friends tab and it will update the locations of your online friends. Or click the guild tab and it will update the location of your guild members. You may have to do this more than once. But from my testing, once you do this a couple of times it will never come back for that session only. If you log or quit then it will come back again.

The problem does seem to go away when I remove Cartographer. So I will try to find out which specific mod of Cartographer is causing this.

I have enabled the hidden addon communication with Prat to see what is going on behind the scenes and there does seem to be quite a bunch of chatter going on with guild members who run Cartographer.

This specific issue is with your social pane that continues to pop up numerous times during a Census Scan. And you don't have CT Mailmod installed.

Yeah, I've only had the social window pop up once during a census scan since 2.1, and only when I left it on the guild tab and somebody joined the guild. But I don't run cartographer, so that's probably why.
