Unexpected!

So I get this email today from someone offering to pay me $50 to delete their character history. Maybe there is a revenue generating option here I have overlooked! Hehe, j/k
I found it quite interesting though. Someone must want to shake their past pretty badly!

Hehe, well, if he had a char history that looks that bad he would most likely stiff you on the $50 anyway

That's right, maybe a fast under the table payoff and any information from that day forward will be recorded

Why would someone want their character history deleted? To show they don't guild-hop or something? My poor little brain doesn't comprehend...

Guild hopping is one reason, there also guilds that are well known for cheating or for promoting racism etc. (usually the same guild(s) gathering all the dregs) and someone might have realized they want to interact with people that doesn't appreciate that. There are some guilds you never ever want people to know you were a part of...

to be honest we have denied 2 lvl 60's entrance to our small family guild due to their guild history. I can think of one more off the top of my head that I wish i had looked up first b4 tagging.
