Multiple logins from one account?

I seem to recall hearing somewhere that it's possible for an account to be logged in more than once, so lon as it's on different servers - anyone know if that's true? If it is that'll be handy as I've just ordered a laptop and I'm hoping it'll run WoW... if it will then censusing on the laptop while playing on the desktop could be a possibilty :)

Um, to my knowledge, you can't do that. Maybe there's a way to do it that I'm unaware of.

That would be awesome... but I don't think it works. I'll have to install wow on my wife's computer and try it out though. ;)

It doesn't, you could with beta be on european and us servers at the same time and sometimes there are login issues that makes it possible but certainly not reliably... not to mention that if you do manage to log in two sessions you're likely to be autosuspended by the Blizzard watchdog software and have to jump through a lot of hoops to unlock your account.

Sometimes when I log in the wrong account the client that's already logged on gets kicked and sometimes I get already logged on message, a few times both clients end up kicked...

Basically Blizzard gets most of their income simply based on number of active accounts, they want you to buy more accounts, not less.

From my understanding you will be disconnected from the server when the other person logs on.

Shame, I was sure I'd heard it worked, but maybe that was a while back. Oh well, was worth asking anyway :)

It doesn't work.

If it did, I'd be happy.

Just to put in my input, this doesn't work I jump around logging in WoW many computers for tests and it discounts the other computer when you log in.
