So what are you looking forward to the most in the Burning Crusade expansion? Flying mounts? New lands? New races? New raid content? New levels? New professions?

For me, it's all about the blood elf hotties, woo woo ;p

First about that video- I have a sore spot about noisy cars...I live on a nice "quiet" backroad but idiots think it is their place to honk the horn constantly and install a noisy tip on their muffler and race or show off. I am not sure why exactly. Thankfully it is now getting colder, so no more motorcycles. ...My husband and I both work from home, so I can only wait until those whistles work their way to PA. Those 2 men in that video were crazy. Did you see them peel out of that parking lot? They almost hit that one car on TV!!! LOL

On to happier things --> WoW

I am interested to see new mobs, different scenery, and more things to do in my spare time. I was interested in the Arena, but I saw a video of it yesterday and it looks boring. PVP doesn't really seem like it got much better either. I was also hoping for a nerf to seduce and nuking by warlocks, so warlocks would finally have to learn how to play their class, but I haven't heard anywhere that it has changed (Yes I am a warlock and no I do not seduce and nuke) PVP is still 2-5 shotting people. I guess I was expecting too much.

I think 2-3 months after the expansion if I am not happy with the game I will be quitting probably forever. I think the xpac for a lot of people is their way of holding on, but if it doesn't please the casual/PVP customer base, I expect Blizzard to lose some folks.

I would be interested in raiding content if I could stand to be in a raiding guild. Too much bickering and fighting for me.

I am trying to farm up 5K (correct me if I am wrong with the price) gold right now for my flying mount too. That is what I have been working on. Only 3K more to go! :|

All those goldsellers are probably rejoicing right now...Well the guy who owns them. haha

I'm looking forward to new dungeons. I've been playing my priest pretty exclusively, and I can't wait to take her into the new zones and encounters in BC. A few of us are hoping to reform the old guild when the expansion comes out, and maybe even do some of the 25 man content.

What I really want to experience is content that is still "new" when I get there, not like the current content that was old hat by the time I hit 60. Hopefully the very public nature of the current beta won't diminish that newness.

Oiseaux, Blizzard CMs have mentioned that players will probably earn quite a bit of gold by the time they hit 70. You may not even need to stockpile before the expansion comes out. (Who knows, though, not having a final product to work with yet.)

Checking out new areas, levelling a Draenei Shammy, levelling to 70 etc.

Flying mount sounds fun but still haven't figured out if 225 riding requires 150 riding (epic mount), if that's true then effectively a 150% speed flying mount would cost 7000G or so if you like me only have 75 riding skill on all your chars and regular flying mount would be 2000G base cost or so.

Lots of stuff with professions look interesting, in the end though if you need to raid/run infinite number of the same instance like it is now to get access to spells and recipes I'll be using any means necessary to get into WAR or AoC beta...

I've given up hope for PvP, it's too gear centric, I like a more level playing field where you actually stand a chance against better geared players if you play better.

Arenas sound like your place Alanthus. :P

Anyway, I can't wait for the new Mage talents. /yum. Whilst not all are perfect, it got a lot better in TBC.

Can't say that I care much for the flying mounts. Sure it sounds great, but the price... and only usable in certain areas = not very feasible for me atm.

I would like to see PVP brought back more in line with player skill than gear as well. Maybe it's a pipe dream, but I long for the days when I could give anyone a run for their money even in my all blue gear.

I am pretty sure that the matching system for PVP is going in place for the expansion. Not exactly sure how it will work, but it is supposed to give your gear some sort of score and you are placed into other groups that have similar gear. This is Blizzards way of making the gear disparity not so bad. I wouldn't give up on PVP completely. Personally I never step foot inside BGs anymore because at least 2-3 people are doing that sneaky spacebar jump every 4.5 minutes so they don't get ported out. World PVP is the way to go.

I would rather make some gold right now than try to do it while leveling. I am also going to have to clean out my bank and inventory to make room for quest items again. I have bags full of fire resists and nature resist gear I no longer use...(I wonder if all that gear is completely useless at 70?)

I hope they add a few bank slots or something because I bet others are running out of room too. Making gold is really easy for me, so might as well stock up while I can.

It isn't actually going to measure you by gear, iirc.

It will be based on how well you do against other teams.

Actually, now that I think about it, any of you know if Arenas will also be XServers?

Actually, they will be adding another bag-slot in your bank.

I'm probably mostly excited about having new quests and storyline stuff to enjoy. Lately I mostly pvp just to keep my discount, as I only really enjoy the 30-39 and 40-49 brackets due to less gear disparity than 60 and the outrageously twinked 10-19 and 20-29 brackets. It's sad they can't do some kind of gear rating, because it would make skill a lot more valuable... but oh well. At least I get to enjoy all those new quests, and level a pally :P

I'm looking forward to the new zones mainly, instances aren't really my thing, although I'll do them more this time out so I don't end up left behind gearwise by my guild so much that I can't join them occasionally (as happened in original WoW), but all the new quests and new things to see will be great.

I've pretty much completed the Draenei zones on the test server (all I'm left with is a couple of elite quests) and wow, they are fantastic - maybe not enough choice of quests but all the ones there are are part of chains, and it all weaves together into one story - everything you do or see seems to link to something else you've done or seen. Gives it a real feeling of depth, and really made me feel like a part of the zone, like one of the Draenei people. Very well done indeed, I can't wait to get my Draenei priest on the real servers now :)

If anyone's interested, I've put my screenshots up on http://wowtbc.fotopic.net/ - there's a heck of a lot of spoilers so only go if you don't mind seeing the new scenery, jewelcrafting info, new items etc! ;)

I missed out on ordering the Collector's Edition. By the time Blizzard sent mail out to state it, everyone stopped taking orders.

But looking forward to the new areas and things to see.

I plan on buying it (or at least attempting to buy it) from local stores that don't offer preorders. Gotta find backup stores, though.

Hehe I took a peek. It looks great. Some of the items you linked from the AH are amazing. The economy is going to be messed up for a while I bet too. Since those green items are as good as epics in MC, people won't know what to price them! Sadly, looking at those items you linked, I will probably be able to just buy greens off the AH that are better than what I have on my character now.

Nice stuff Balgair! To be honest, I had trouble figuring out if the Female chars were Blood Elfs or Draenei... Took me awhile but I think I got them figured out.

The new starting zones look pretty cool, and Outland as well!

Keep those pics coming =)

Hehe, if it's got blue skin it's Draenei, normal skin colours it's a blood elf ;) Agreed on the items, one screenshot compared green shoulders with my epic ZG reward shoulders and there was nothing in it; without the set bonus on the epics the greens might even have been better. Kinda sick, and it'll take some getting used to!

I'll be posting more photos when I'm home again, visiting my parents at the moment though so can't play - I'm on lovely dial-up on my laptop right now lol, no chance I could download the beta tes on this :)

Eh, imo, they should make the change to stamina retroactive, but only applying to epic quality items higher than iLvl 65. That way, the raiders still have a reason to raid until the expansion. Also, it doesn't make the iteme quite so obsolete when the expansion does roll around.

Um no.

I think everyone knew that Naxx was just filler for the raiders to do before BC. Those guilds who chose to throw away thousands of gold on that instance are pretty dumb. Personally, I think any guild doing any type of raiding is stupid at this point. Which is why a lot of people have quit WoW until BC comes out.

Sorry to say but raiders bring this on to themselves. I will be glad to see the playing field leveled once again. However, I think raiders are scared of this because they have been above the majority of WoW players for so long. They probably don't even know how to play their characters with greens on.
