I am horde on Darrowmere and it's been great so far, but I would also like to play alliance on another server. I would like to know when and if there are any new servers coming out. Is there anyway to find this from the official wow site?

Thanks,
-FW

Why do you want to play alliance?

Calm down... drink a Coke, eat zebra cake, watch some CNN Headline News, lay down on the couch. The desire should be gone now.

Blizzard doesn't announce new servers, you'll just have to wait and see unfortunately.

Well if you look at all the new servers, horde is become the new alliance for some reason... I rather be on the side with fewer players.

It's just mostly like that on PvP servers, and it usually evens out once the server ages. Some of it has to do with alliance players wanting to see the horde side, and so often the horde has a slight population advantage on some young servers. If you want to play the underdog, you can always pick any of the older servers that have a ton more alliance than horde, unless you just really want to play alliance. PvE servers usually have the alliance outnumbering the horde by a ton, with a few exceptions.

Now once the expansion hits, this may change a bit, since the Horde stand to gain quite a population boost from the addition of Blood Elves. I guess we'll see how that works out though.

Rerolling on a new server is overrated in my opinion - it can be tough to get all the right classes for raids once you hit 60, since usually the classes that hit 60 first are all dps classes (rogues, hunters, warriors, mages.) That is, of course, unless you have a whole guild rerolling with people picking certain classes to benefit future raiding. Plus, new servers are at a gear disadvantage when compared to older, more established servers in xrealm bg's. But hey, some people love to reroll, in which case don't let me discourage you from having your fun :P

Wow, this post ended up being a bit longer than I planned.

I choose to reroll in new servers because everyone starts around the same pace. I mean personally I don't want to play on a server where 60% of the people are already level 60 and running around with full epics, that's just unacceptable.

Not to burst your bubble or anything, but in the matter of 3-6 months the new server you reroll to will become that anyway. I personally hate rerolling on new servers because 1) the starting areas are packed full of annoying 12 year olds and annoying 45 year olds(South Park) that talk about Chuck Norris 2) too many people trying to kill the same spawns 3) Economy is totally messed up and it is hard to find stuff on it 4)Probably over 50% of those rolling on new servers have no intention in staying. They get bored and go back to their level 60 in full Naxx gear on another server. The new server is then a ghost town.

I would much rather have to deal with 60% of people in epics than to have a server that is on the verge of dying.

That's just me though. I hope you enjoy your new server whichever one you choose! :D
