What happened to Archimonde last I checked it had around 19000 people now its down to 16600. Does this site give correct infromation? Why the sudden drop?

I haven't done a total character count, and 3k is a pretty big drop, but the main census displays only show characters seen in the past 30 days so it is possible that the numbers can drop.

There is a definate change in numbers on some servers, people are changing server, quitting, going back to old games, taking breaks etc.
Many have held on for a long while now waiting for stable servers, no queue, PvP content or whatever they are most insterested in. It's natural that we'll see changes down as well as up now, IMO the server issues will make those changes more drastic than they would have been otherwise. In archimonde's case you also need to take into account that a LOT of hardcore PvP guilds went there... if 1 or 2 of those decide to move that's a drop of several hundred concurrent players right away.

There is still something weird with the Archimonde stats....
it shows:
Alliance:203 (6%) Horde 3,325 (94%) 1 : 16.4 3,528
that can't be right.... could you check it please?

The stats you quoted are from the EU-Archimonde.
Here are the stats for US Archimonde:
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.ph ... ertypeid=2
Total Characters: 16,751
Showing Guild: All
Total Alliance: 8,275 - 49%
Total Horde: 8,476 - 51%
A to H Ratio: 1 : 1
Or are you referring specifically to the EU-Archimonde?

I was looking at EU-Archimonde indeed. I'm therefore not in the right thread, but could you check it out still?

I have gotten *VERY* few updates for EU-Archimonde. When more dates come in, the data can be assumed to be more accurate.
