Question: censusdate

Now, I know apparently in future versions censusdate won't be needed as the UI will be able to pull the date from the program. However, I've got a quick question while we still use it.

Being on the East Coast of Australia with daylight savings at the moment (GMT+11, otherwise normally GMT+10) my date can quite often be the day ahead of what the server. For example, it's currently 9:55AM, Monday, March the 14th here. However on Blackrock, which is PST, it's currently 2:55PM, Sunday, March the 13th.

Question is, should I use my date, or the server's date for the censusdate setting?

You would use your local date. And yes, you are correct, as soon as the patch comes that has the GetDate() API available, this method will go away!
