So you might be able to view the forums right now, even though the site is offline.
Looks like I had a motherboard failure on the database server late last night. It has been replaced, but it also looks like in the process that some of the data files have been corrupted. I'm working on recovery and update and have taken the site offline in the meantime.
Good times... well, not really... but .. anyway...
back to work for me!

Well, I think I'm going to be able to recover most stuff, but there will likely be some loss to character data. I am in the process of rebuilding the tables from backups and then I'll set it to reprocess quite a few of the data files.

Well, I think everything is back online. Please let me know if you see anything amiss with characters, guilds, histories, etc.

Yea I noticed that once I read the previous post the whole site just quit loading....
And I noticed the changes made to now show the Images in our WR Profile =)
And also to show the filename of the image that you chose instead of the image number in the database.
Still waiting on the Guild Images
*edit* It actually took a about 30 seconds to make this post =( Guess not back to normal yet....

Seems like Rollie rolled the updates back, the status shows it as being on Feb 22nd as of posting:

So while it might of been processed once, its going to get processed again. Just trying to salvage whatever was left of the corrupt files I guess....

I like the images in the profile bit!
Only trouble is all those ugly red X's on the characters I haven't got pictures for, suppose I need to take some more screenies

DM. - you didn't notice that I also added comments and captions to images? ;p
And I need to be more diligent about testing in IE. I've removed the images from the profile page for now, will revisit later.

Hmm is it possible that maybe the Captions can be displayed in the Gallery section as well? That way we dont have to go to the individual picture to see the caption. But still have to go to the image if you want to see any comments made by anyone.
And you removed the images from the Profile main page..... =(
There were some issues with the tables anyways.

Ah so is this the cause why my updates from yesterday still showed a N for being processed.
Are those updates with an N ever going to be processed, or did you have to throw them into the bit-(garbage-)bin since the files were corrupted? (Just curious).

Rollie is most likely fixing up some of the database issues that the EU realms had with the most recent release of Census Plus and the bug with the less than 3 characters not being captured correctly.
Check the status of what file the database is currently processing here:

As of posting its on March 24th. And no your files are still there and will be processed sometime =)
