hey, i don't know much about this site, and I ask that. just seems like something is offbase. for example, Thunderlord server.. warcraftrealms says it only has 6,000 people (which is very low), but the ingame realm list ranks it as one of the most populated Medium pop servers. there are also other discrepancies i've noticed.. I'm trying to find a server with a high population, healthy faction balance and good PvP, but i'm not sure how carefully i should tread if the data is inconsistent. thanks

Warcraftrealms is as accurate as the number of uploads and scans that players who have the CensusPlus mod, and upload their data here, can be.

Thunderlord realm stats here are very inaccurate. As you can see here:
http://warcraftrealms.com/census/Thunderlord

2 alliance scans and 56 horde scans in the past 30 days.... Thats not alot at all. So unless we get someone to census that realm as they are playing and upload their data here, there is nothing that can be done to get that realm stats up to date and accurate.

Also most of the stats you see here are based on characters which have been seen at least once in the past 30 days and are lvl 10 and higher.

I'd say the stats here are pretty accurate for most realms. But it can be improved on some realms esp Thunderlord.....

Like DM said, each server is only as accurate as the number of submissions listed. Hence, if you want to rely on the server data here to help choose a server, than you can check out the ones that green on both factions - those will be the ones where the data is most accurate.
