Hi all,
I've been checking out the census on several realms. Executus, for me, just isn't cutting it. It's very difficult to find groups even at 70 because there are only around 1000ish level 70 hordies. I'm looking for a large CST sever (or possibly EST) that has a dominating horde presence and several successful raiding guilds. I have a soon-to-be 70 warlock and want to find a new home. I've been looking at Mal'Ganis and Burning Legion...but I really don't know what to do.
Any Advice is well appreciated.

Mal'Ganis has a ton of horde, if that's what you're looking for, and is usually ahead of most horde guilds on other servers in raid progression (US anyway.) Of course, this means that spots in raiding guilds can be pretty contested, but if you want an established horde dominated server than Mal'Ganis is for you... if you can deal with the inflated egos of 2/3 of the players.
Many people on Mal'Ganis have a rather annoying superiority complex. But, it's been my home since Jan of '05 and I wouldn't go anywhere else (especially since they fixed the queues, but that's another matter.)
Happy decision making

Executus was created in a wave of new servers right after two previous waves. When it was made, I knew that the only people on it would be the chronic rerollers, so it surprises me that you even have 1000.
I would look for any old established server. Some of them have been split multiple times, but they still have a fairly high percentage of 70s (compared to newer servers). Mal'Ganis is probably the only server that meets your criteria too well. They are the home of "Goon Squad" and "Elitist Jerks". I have a friend in Goon Squad. Both guilds, as I understand, have grown larger than your average "largest" guild on any server. My guess is that the number of small raiding guilds (those who have just tasted gruul's, etc) is smaller on Mal'ganis because of the size of those large guilds.
My friend in goon squad was involved in a prank where they kited all the alliance flght masters from Kalimdor towns into some small hut in the Barrens, thus shutting down alliance travel for a couple of hours.
I would say that if you are looking for a guild big enough to do weekly raids on alliance towns while still manning a number of PVE raids, then it would be the server for you.

Goon Squad does some really funny stuff, that's for sure, including but not limited to that flight master prank, camping every alliance boat for 24 hours straight, turtling an AV for over 16 hours on purpose, and more crazy stuff.
As far as the raiding thing goes, there's actually quite a few smaller raiding guilds on mal'ganis. We've got 19 horde guilds that have at least killed Maulgar at the moment, for example, not counting ones that may have killed him since the progression thread was last updated like a week ago (we've had some problems since our guild progression sticky thread got too big and locked on us)
Here's the link, if you're interested. (If the boss' name is in bold, it means that guild killed him)

Hmm, was having a strong sense of deja vu, but I realized I just linked that in another thread here on WCR not too long ago, haha
