The advertising needs to go.
And whatever happened to my (ages old suggestion) of changing "Killing Fields" to "BattleCensus"?
Oh. Yeah. Hi all.

I would rather you spend time fixing the bugs than doing a newsletter. Not that a newsletter is a bad idea, just that I would like to use C+ again when the bugs are gone (or at least not a constant annoyance)

I wasn't impressed with the newsletter at all. All the newsletter is going to do is scare people away with the gold ads. I know its how you make money to run this site, but I guarantee you its the #1 reason people don't participate in the Census, and this website.
The newsletter needs to have more interesting information, and use HTML. Use character history on a few characters, and guild history. I love looking back at some of my old guilds, and looking at ex-members and seeing where they are now. Put a question out there like "Whatever happened to Blaznazn your first person on your friends list back in 2004?" See where he is now. "Find Lost friends in WoW."
Show a Killing Field final scoresheet for arenas, and than make a play by play analysis on how you think the battle went. Show a BG final scoresheet.
Show the overall census stats of all the realms, and how more data gives better accuracy. Show what the census looks like in game, and how it can be useful.
We need eye candy....
Well that is my 2 cents....

There was no gold selling advert, just a plug for a gold making guide.
The newsletter is there partially to make sure our monthly prizes get claimed. We have had a hard time getting them all claimed for quite some time. Within 1 day of sending out the newsletter, all 3 of this month's prizes were claimed so the newsletter served it's primary function.
Don't worry, it won't be going out more than once per month and I will try to add a bit more info than just the drawing data.
If you don't like the newsletter, it's easy to opt out. Just follow the link at the bottom of the email.
