One or multiple realms?

I know that we all have our census alts, but do you guys find yourself actively playing/leveling on more than one realm? I find this to be a distraction from my main toon, but I find just idling in the starting areas to be boring.

Just play on one realm here, tried another for a change a while back but got bored since all my friends are on my usual realm

I play on several realms. One of main reasons being that I have some German speaking friends with very little knowledge of English, and some English speaking friends who speak no German at all. Second, I wanted to try out RP and PvP... so I ended up branching out even more. And then there are "the usual" censusing alts... most of whom get deleted and recreated as needed.
