Hello.
This is simple..
I installed the addon...
Ran scan....
Would upload the data.....
Can't find 1, not even 1, hint as to how to do this after reading the directions......
I am not going to go looking for it either...sorry, been there, done that, wasted far too much time!!!!!
You may not be getting nearly as much upload data as you would if the upload step(s) were extremely clear, simple and available............
Doh!

1. Go to
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/upload.php
2. On the first upload box find your file which will be in your World of Warcraft\WTF\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME\SavedVariables\ folder
3. Select your
Censusplus.lua file
(when you hit the gigantic Submit button on the main page, it'll take you to the upload page, and at the top directions are also available)

Taurenhntr, do you have a CensusPlus.lua file located here: "World of Warcraft\WTF\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME\SavedVariables\"?
If not then you have the same problem I do which is having no CensusPlus.lua appear where it's supposed to, after running the census and exiting the game. I've spent hours trying to fix this all for naught. It would help if in directions there was a different file location mentioned where the census data might save.
Most people would probably give up after having this obstacle and not even say anything in forums, who knows how many uploads this website is missing out on. I'll stick with you guys even though this is incredibly frustrating. Can't wait to contribute all the census figures I've downloaded from 12 realms, especially the ones this website needs the most.

Taurenhntr, right click World of Warcraft, and click "open file location", then go to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\DEATHDEALER715\SavedVariables
...then right click that address and click "Copy Address as text". If you see CensusPlus.lua in that file then you should have no prob uploading your data.
Now click on SUBMIT, where it says "Census+ file" press "ctrl + v" (to paste address), type \CensusPlus.lua and click "process file". GG

I think one thing to note is that several poeple use Vista now, (I do, not by choice, but I do),
Anyway, it took me a while of searching throught he forums to find the path to the CensusPlus.lua, which isn't where the initial instructions says it is, This made mre pretty frustrated as well.
I tried searching for it also, but by default Vista won't search hidden or system directories, which it is on Vista.
I finally found it, and haven't had any problems since, but, instructions for Vista people should be included somewhere.

Where is it located on Vista?

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\%AccountName%\SavedVariables\CensusPlus.lua
Appdata is hidden or protected or something, I found a thread on these boards somewhere that referenced it is how I found it, now I have it saved in a text file and jsut copy / paste it into the upload box on the WR site.

Yup it would be nice to get that directory listed on the submit page for those using Vista... for god knows what reason

I actually can't find this location dewy listed, but right clicking WoW and "Running as Administrator" seemed to do the trick for me. It was a while back, but I recall there being a few days that the "\CensusPlus.lua" didn't even show up after "Running as Administrator" and running loads of scans.
So in the directions for Vista uploads, it should encourage them to be patient in case "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\%AccountName%\SavedVariables\CensusPlus.lua" isn't accessible to them, they may just have to wait a few days for Vista to do what it's supposed and send the "\CensusPlus.lua" to "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\%AccountName%\SavedVariables"
So for people that "C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\%AccountName%\SavedVariables\CensusPlus.lua" doesn't show up, I suggest they just run Census' for fun till they are able to upload and not drive themselves crazy trying to get the uploads to work.
(Edited out your account name in one example since you removed it from all the others

I run vista on the laptop and the censusplus file has always been located where it should be... so I've never had a problem. One of my friends had the problem though, but he just did what serverhopper suggested and eventually it showed up.

Don't know about the rest but I have wow installed in C:\World of Warcraft and since I got write rights there everything is written away in the wow folder instead of the silly vista data folders. Might be an idea to try out.
