First, let me start by saying this is very cool site. I do have some questions though. I have been thinking about Class balance VS time over the large scale (greater than 6 months), and I'd love to be able to correlate them with when certain patches have been released.
For example: How many level 60 priests were active before 1.10 and how many 2 months later?
So I guess my question is: How much data is archived? Do you retain population by level, or is that data only ever an instant snapshot?
What I would like to see is if players are "voting with their feet" when certain changes are made (already it looks like the Mage review was popular because the relative population of Mages has increased, in proportion, since that review came out).
Again, thank you for this site!
Class trends over time
Well, the class activity graphs actually go back 1 year instead of the listed 6 months. What I had actually wanted to do (and had done so in the past) was note on the graph when certain patches when live so you could see if there was a sudden jump in a certain class.
As it is now, if you know about when a patch when live, you can kinda see how it may have impacted classes at that time.
