Character page updating

Post by JavaMan »

Hi,
I like what this site is all about, great to have access to this kind of info.

I've been uploading the World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/XXX/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua file for the past while now (about 2 weeks) 4+ times a day usually and I'm looking to see what the data looks like. Are we able to see it after a few days? From the Character page?
Any and all help is appreciated.

Cheers,

JavaMan

If you are logged in when you submit your data, then you can see what kind of impact your updates have had if you check you My Characters page. There you will see information on how many character additions and updates your information has provided.

Other than that, the data is basically aggregated with other data to provide overall stats and information. You should also see that your character's histories should correctly reflect current data!

If you mean something else entirely, then let me know, lol

Next time you submit, be sure you are logged in so I can track your submission. There isn't much I can do if I do not know what date you submitted. =(

Will submit one right now, after posting this.

What do you seen after you have uploaded?
File appears to be valid, checking your version number.

Checking your file

I was unable to determine what version of CensusPlus you are using. The latest version is 3.3. Please download the latest version and rerun CensusPlus. Your data will not be accepted unless submitted using the latest version of CensusPlus. You can get the latest version here :

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/censusplus.php

Thank you for your contribution!
And as I am using that version, I thought it was a glitch.. and not a problem. :(
Now what do I do? How do I re-run Census Plus ??
Do you mean re-install it after removing the old one?

Aha, now we're getting somewhere =)

Sounds like you are probably uploading the wrong file =/

Make absolutely sure you are uploading the correct file. Follow all steps listed here:
