Any tips for passing the time

I play with my cats.
I give my boyfriend a hard time.
I surf http://www.warcraftrealms.com.
I check my email.
I run my new census characters to an inn, so it doesn't take 20 seconds to log out when I'm done.
I fix all of my new census characters add ons so that they're not in my way: Titan to nothing, turning off all the ones that I won't ever use, so they don't clutter the screen
I get some Coke.
I surf for new add ons.

When I census on Malygos, I go ahead and play Helene.

I grind, haha. My goal is to eventually have all my census alts included in the census statistics. ;P

If I actually start playing my census alts, then I'll want to really play them, and I'll go crazy. I have enough issues with 3 "real" characters.

Sometimes I play the game, sometimes I play on wife's account doing stuff that's easier to do daytime with less griefers around, most of the time I just start census and do stuff with the baby except for the ones I run in the background while actually playing. I have like 350+ levels of characters on my main server so I play a fair amount (or played, less and less now and I expect very little once baby starts crawling, hopefully I'll be allowed to work by the time she starts walking)

Most of the time I clean my apartment. Run vacuum. Run census. Load dishwasher. Run Census. Clean toilet. Run census.....etc....


Most of the time I only run census on my days off, except for my own main server. My mage is 45 now so its getting closer to the 60 mark so I would rather be playing than running census on other servers. I am thinking of getting a puter just to run census 24/7 while I play, but who knows.

That would be kewl if it was possible to run census 24/7 without WoW kicking you off

I have another computer, but you'd have to get a census account so that you could play and run census on another server at the same time, wouldn't you?

I usually run census on my own server while I'm playing, but if I don't have time to sit and play, then I'll pop in a census on another server, like you do. "Pop in a census" like pop in a movie or something... lol *looks around* Yeah, I know I'm a dork.

Geez, WoW is addicting enough. I don't need all this other stuff too. lol But I've been sucked in, so I'm stuck.

Yeah Eyeball i don't think you can belogged in on the same account more then once. so it'd kick you off. i usulaly just watch tv, and check it during the commercials lol.

I tried that once, but the census wouldn't run while I had the scan going, and wouldn't start until I had closed the window after scanning. Maybe it was just a weird fluke that one time, but I was bummed.

Censuses used to just not run when the auction window was open at all (I don't have Auctioneer and it did that for me as well), but that seems to have been fixed since the last update to Censusplus, so maybe it might work for you now

Actually, that is still in place, but the reason it was put there has since been figured out. I'll look into removing that and make sure that it doesn't have any ill effects.

Sweet, as i remember back when i started using it, i could do both, now you can see it stop, that'd be great if you put it back in. I run C+ more then my Auctioneer lol.

On my mains:

I travel. While I am on the bird I let the census run in the background. I run census everytime I am on a bird, or waiting for people for raids and whatnot. I turn off verbose mode so I don't get chat spammed by census and then just kinda chill, fish, fly, whatever.

On my census alts:

Yeah, I do what you guys do: everything but sit there and watch it.

I play my PS2 since it is hooked up to my computer monitor also. Like with Burnout Revenge, I play a race, check on Census, change characters/realms if need to, play a race, on and on.

I usually try to run a census on a "most wanted" realm or three while doing housework. Other than that, I usually run them on my main servers (Elune and Staghelm) while I'm playing.

Every once and awhile, if my husband is working late, I'll run the census on random servers on his computer with his account while I'm soloing on mine. That doesn't happen very often though. He tends to like to have his computer available and gets cranky if he comes home and I'm monopolizing both machines!

Since my main mode of travel is the shoe-leather express I run census while I am traveling from place to place. I also run it while I am getting ready for work.

for my part, i just keep playing. why not play when census runs ? just /who'ing doesnt work (because census uses it..), but you still can keep playing, so why wait and waste time ?
