How often is the census "cleaned"?

There are several guilds which no longer exist on my realm and any of their members have not been seen in over 6 months.

they'll still exist in the database, but if they're innactive they wont be held in any of the calculations for top guilds for the server. Characters go innactive if they aren't spotted online in 30 days.

So there is no process to remove people (including folks I know server transfered months ago)

Nope, basically older entries are archived although Rollie has been working on database enhancements on the site so that way indexing wouldn't be strained by old data.

Historical data is what makes Warcraftrealms what it is. You can look back on the history of characters and check out what guilds they were in, who was in those guilds and more.

Yeah, warcraftrealms is a great way of verifying someones WoW history. The amount of people that lie on their application is amazing, we've caught several people trying to make out they had done various things, but between here and the Armory it was obvious that it wasn't possible.

The funny thing is that normally we're not that bothered about whether someone raided Naxx or whatever, the most important thing is that they're trustworthy.

Or check this out
