Version Error

Hello, I really like to use your census mod but since v3.4 anytime I try to upload data it tells me it doesn't recognize what version I'm using. I've downloaded v3.4 3 different times to ensure that it's the right one. Is there a fix for this?


I was unable to determine what version of CensusPlus you are using. The latest version is 3.4. Please download the latest version and rerun CensusPlus. Your data will not be accepted unless submitted using the latest version of CensusPlus. You can get the latest version here :

Did you exit the game before trying to upload? Are you absolutely sure you are uploading the correct file?

99.9% of the time it is due to uploading the wrong file. You want to be sure you are uploading the file located at

/World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/####/SavedVariables/CensusPlus.lua

and not the file located at:

/World of Warcraft/WTF/Accounts/####/SavedVariables/CensusPlus/CensusPlus.lua.

Also, be sure you have exited the game before you attempt to upload.

Hi Rollie, thanks for answering! Turns out that yes, I am a moron, I was in the individual characters not the saved from the main account. Durrrr. Just not on top of my game lately, LOL. Thanks for your help, I just completed a send in with the RIGHT fricken file, funny how that works, eh?
