Every time I run the census module, and it compeltes a census upload... Is that data stored in addition to previous runs? Does it replace the previous data?

How does the site know what data it's already uploaded from me?

I'm just wondering how this all works!

Well, when you upload data, it stores it locally until the data is processed. Once processed the data is added to all the rest of the data and in a few days, your uploaded data is discarded.

Subsequent uploads are processed in the order in which they are received so data is accumulated as time goes by.
