Guild Numbers are inaccurate

If a person is removed from or leaves a guild and is subsquently not seen for a while they are still counted as being part of the guild that they are no longer members of.

With the new guild functionality of Census Plus you are now able to get an accurate list of guild members.

Can this data be recorded seperately from the rest of census and then be used to 'purge' data out of your guild lists?

An example, in my guild we are shown as having 314 members, when our true numbers are 299 as of an hour ago.

This is usually due to people who haven't logged in for a while having been removed from the guild.

Due to the way the processing occurs, this could pose to be a problem. It is easy to update those that we see, it is hard to try to update all the characters that we don't.

I do have a couple of options here, so I'll think about the best way to do this and see what I can come up with.

Probably not a big enough issue to worry about since you are purging data over 30 days old so these will filter out within 4 weeks at most.

They filter out from the Census display, the Quick Stats, and the Realm stats, but it is still there where the Guild Info and Character History is pulled from.

I suppose that is another option, which would be to only show those who have been seen in the previous 30 days in the Guild Roster section.

Aha, also, I see that you are looking at the main guild display for them here:

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php?guildid=4707

And not the roster here:

http://www.warcraftrealms.com/guilddisp ... ?sort=race

(Which also shows conflicting numbers so I'll have to sort that out).
