After /who interrupt, same person over and over

If a census is in place, and I try to interrupt it with a /who, it works...and then the census program seems to be stuck on that same person forever (until I log). What's goin on? =)

dunno, haven't seen that happen before =/

Can you give me any additional details? What was the name? Where you doing anything in particular at the time? What kinds of other mods are you running?

Did you click on the Continue button that pops up to resume CensusPlus after you did a /who?
If you pressed Esc or somehow cleared the popup button make sure that you resume Census.

To do this:
Right click the C icon on your mini map and select Un-pause
Or... Click on the C button to open the UI and click on the Un-pause button

It happens with every name I try. An example screenshot:

It happens with more than one name as well (you can see the 2 found above where it was doing it with two names that contained "agar").

I run a LOT of other mods. Some CT ones, Sanity, Gatherer, Auctioneer, MobInfo2, KLH ThreatMeter, Outfitter, etc.

And I never saw any popup button to resume CensusPlus. (?)

Yeah, you'll only get that if you get more than 3 results.

I'm almost betting this has to be a conflict with another mod. I'll take a peek at the code and see if anything jumps out at me.

It isn't KLH or CT, as I've run both without interference.

Shouldn't be gatherer either, as it's never bothered mine.

I poked through the code a bit and nothing jumped out at me. Any chance you can show a list of mods you are running?

Hoo boy. OK.

KLHThreatMeter
Nurfed_DKP
CT_RaidTracker (modified)
SW_Stats (beta, disabled usually)
TitanPanel (and addons included)
Outfitter
TitanOutfitter
Gatherer
MobInfo2
CT_Mods
TitanRoll
GuildEventManager2
Sanity
GuildProfiler
CharacterProfiler
Atlas, AtlasLoot, AtlasQuest
GFW_Adspace
Auctioneer
CensusPlus (yay!)
RaidAttendance

...

I think that's all of them.

Not SW_Stats either.

Maybe an error with Char/Guild Profiler?

Not atlas either, or CT_raidtracker/nurfed DKP.

Isn't Character/Guild Profiler as I run those religiously.

I also never had problems when I ran GEM2 or MI2, but I can't remember if I did the /who query with them running...

I would checkout those addons that are monitoring your chat tabs like GFW AdSpace addon for example.

The rest of your addons I think are fine. From your list I use Mobinfo2, GEM, KTM, Titan Panel, SW_Stats and CT_Raid. And all those I have never had any issues with. I also got a ton of other mods as well from Cosmos, and some others that I downloaded myself.

Plus you might also want to consider trial and error. Disabling a few addons and logging in. Then running CensusPlus and see if the error comes up. Once you determine that its running fine with those mods disabled, then log out and enable them one by one until the culprit is found.

Might take awhile, but its one easy way to find a solution to the problem.

I think I figured this one out. Are you on a sparsely populated or new server? I stumbled across this same behavior under certain circumstances while testing on the beta server.

Based on the pic posted... The sever is Kirin Tor

Huata:
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charsheet/37373148

Server data sheet:
http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php?serverid=574

Its an RP server, with a decent sized population (23,124 overall chars). Perhaps it was just slow at that time?

I've taken Censi (uses?) when SM was slow. It isn't that, unless it's a new bug in the code...

What I discovered today required just the right circumstances to happen. Just being on a low populated or new server won't do it. There has to be a couple other factors involved as well.

That's rather vague...

Uhm that happened to me aswell a few times... I dont have any of the addons listed, except MobHealth3 maybe, and some CTMods (Core, Mailmod, UnitFrames).

I also generally have problems getting a /who during a census if I shift click a name instead of using /who.

Are you using the latest version? 3.5.1?
