Hi!
The Italian Job Guild, on EU-Zenedar server, at http://www.warcraftrealms.com/guilds/156780, has lost a lot of characters that... are part of the guild! For example Maraxus is missing but as you can see here http://www.warcraftrealms.com/charhisto ... it1=SEARCH
Maraxus is in the guild and the last seen is about 3 days ago.
What's happened?

Well, I'm not quite sure. Something happened in the update for this character (and possibly others) where their last seen date was not updated correctly. And since that happened, then it was if they hadn't been seen in 30 days and were dropped from the guild roster.

I'll have to take a peek and see if I can see what changed with regard to that.

Today I've submitted an updated data. Hoping the results are better!

I take the opportunity of this message to ask you another strange thing: look at my guild (the link is the same as before): there are two characters with the same name (Alazrhed) but one of them with "unknown" race. Question is always the same: what's happened?

Originally I had a database constraint for unique character name and server/faction. What this did though was if people deleted and rerolled with the same name, then the new character would try to update the old character.

I relaxed this so that you can now have multiple characters of the same name so that this case would not be effected.

What I didn't count on though was when characters were added from Guild roster updates and the race was unknown. So then it seens this a character with the same name, with a known race and thinks it is a different character, so it makes a new entry, which is obviously incorrect.

I have updated the processing, but I'm sure there are going to be several characters in the database that are going to suffer from this. I'll have to track them down and eliminate them.

Again, thanks for bringing these things to my attention so that they get fixed properly.

In your opinion, why some of my guild characters have "Unknown" race (like Alazrhed, Nevrast, Ratto and Usuraio) or "Unknown" rank (like Alazrhed)?

Usually I act in this way:
- Open Census+
- Open Guild Tab
- Select "Show Offline members"
- Close Guild Tab
- Select my Guild in the Guild list of Census+
- Start the "Take" process
- Minimize the Census+ window
- Wait for conclusion of "Take" process
- Open Census+ window
- Select another guild and then re-select my guild
- Close WoW and Submit data

Ok, I remember that the last 3 times I've taken data, I have not open again Census+ windows reselecting my guild. After taken data, I have closed WoW and then submitted data. Maybe is this an error?

You do not have to select your guild in the Census+ window. Just be sure to view your guild panel.

The reason some people have Unknown race is because they are seen in a guild roster update, but not in a census.

People with Unknown rank were seen in a Census snapshot, but not in a guild roster update.
