First off thanks for the great mod . Ive been using it for a while now and now and then I have even submited info .

I have been wondering if it could be possible to make an ingame submit button. I personaly would really like it because then I wouldnt always have to come to the site and do and I really think that it would increase the amount of submits you'd get dramaticly. You could even make it so that it automaticly submits the data. I dont know if its possible to do or if blizz allows you to do it but it would be really cool if it was implemented .

I like this idea a lot. The only thing is that you have to log out or reload your UI in order for the CensusPlus.lua to be written (someone correct me if I'm wrong), so the submit will have to also reload the ui, and users would have to be warned of that, so you don't submit in the middle of the wilderness, reload, and get killed.

But yeah it would be cool.

It's not possible to cause interaction with data sources outside of the game from inside the game. I wish it were, but it's just not an option =(

Ah well. It's not that much work to do it manually. Plus there's UniUploader.

How does wowplayer work then? It uses itunes to play music but has the play stop pause etc ingame.

I think that was is permitted because you are using an interface with something already on your computer. In the case of the census, you're connecting to an outside source via the Internet and its not restricted to information that's just on your computer.

where do you get wowplayer?
