Is there a way to purge Census+ of all realm data except 1?
Is there a way to purge Census+ of all realm data except 1?
My question is in refference to some of the posts I have seen by people on these forums. They boast about how large their local databases are and how many thousands upon thousands of characters they have viewed. When I go to submit my info the process is slow to say the least. I update 7-12k people on each submission so my database can get large. Since any future submissions would only require me to use people that have changed recently and that I have viewed online, the rest of the characters on my databases are really useless to me since I am not updating them. However, since they are still in the census+ data when I submit my info they are still analyzed and this takes up more time than needed. I noticed on my last submission it took a few minutes to upload my info. I logged in and purged my database and went thru another round of census runs and while I submitted the same number I usually do, 8k or so, my submission took 15 seconds as compared to a few minutes. The only problem about purging is that it also purges the info for my main server and THAT info I would like to keep. Is there a way that I can just have the mod purge data but save specific realms? Maybe when you purge it will only purge your current server and leave rest intact?
If you want to keep the data on the realm you are currently logged in on, but delete the rest, the command "/censusplus serverprune" will do the trick. I use that regularly to keep the data from my main realm but delete everything from the realms I only visit to census and don't actually play on.
There's no way to delete only one server's data that I know of though.

I would love to see a checkbox type interface where I can choose which realms' data to keep - so I can purge off census realms after I upload, but keep the 2-3 realms I track.
