Change the registration form, some way!

I am not visually impairedbut I think your registration procedure is mind impairing!!!

The confirmation code is pure evil!

It is case sensitive but you cannot understand what case is a "k" when it's ad-hoc distorted!

I tried so many times... at last I was LUCKY!

Look:

"k" is upper or lower?
And "X"?

Try 2

What the heck is first letter? An "S"??????
What case are "x" and "z"?

Try 3

What case is "v" at the beginning?
And the two "u"? Are they one lower and one upper??

Try 4

What case is that damn "x"? Is your site configured to put at least one ambiguous char in each confirmation code?

This time only "u" is ambiguous... I got 50%....

I think lots of folks are having trouble with it. I have been getting more emails since I changed to the new verifcation.

I will do some work and see what I can come up with. The reason the verificaion is harder is because of the spam that was cropping up.

Well, I modified it to only be capital letters, so that should help with the ambiguity of lower case letters.

The stock phpbb one must have been cracked as we were getting a lot of spam posts. Since I moved to the new validation form, we've not gotten any, hehe.

Lol, glad to be rid of the spammers but looking at that I'm very glad I'm already registered, those are evil
