How many hours a day do you play WoW

Post by Forestlordx »

In the "people quitting WoW thread" - someone mentioned how a friend of theirs leveled a character 1-70 in a few days playing time and then started raiding....made me wonder how many hours people put into gaming. Please feel free to vote below and share your thoughts if you want.

Hard for me to vote on this one. I don't play daily, I play on average 4 days a week. A more relevant poll for me would have been how many hours per week do you play, to which I could have answered 10 - 15 hours per week.

Hehe yeah the 8hrs... Because anything less is pointless came from a time when I was playing EQ I was grouping with someone who played 10 hours a day saying that you couldnt really take full advantage of the game unless putting that kind of time commitment on the game and anything less than that wasn't worth paying a subscription fee....they were completely serious.

At least 8 hours a day, though it's a bit less currently as I'm trying to cut back to avoid getting totally bored. I was on 12+ hours a day for about a month after TBC launched, in fact more like 15+... I only stopped playing to eat and sleep ;)

I picked 4-5 hours, though really I needed 5-8 hour option. And that's split up - I rarely do instances. Typically, I'll play for 1-2 hours after I wake up, then 5-6 hours after I get home from work, all soloing and farming.

Usually I'll play 4-5 days a week, for about 6-8 hours a stretch. Usually raiding is a big part of it, but sometimes I do instances, sometimes I play alts, and on rare occasions I farm. I hate farming. It's so boring.
