File Upload Error

I have a suspicion what's causing the issue btw, will confirm when it's working again, but there's one option checked on the new one which I have unchecked on the old: Send Password Securely - I suspected it even before I looked at my settings on the older version, since there's clearly some issue with the passwords here. I'm expecting it to login fine in 15 mins or so when I uncheck that, but will see

I've tried both Secure and Un-Secure password.. There was no difference..

Guess something else is your problem then, since unchecking secure password has fixed it for me:

Not a lot else I can suggest, maybe someone more technical-minded has some ideas? Certainly the same version of UU does work correctly on my pc so I'm puzzled how it's not working for you, assuming you've put all the correct info in, which it does sound like you've done.

I'll give it another go, when I get home..
Maybe stuff have changed (server upgrade etc) in the last 6 weeks..

Might make no difference but try unchecking "Upload ALL Accounts" on the first tab - I don't have that one checked, since I have 2 accounts to switch between and the server doesn't like multiple uploads. It may well be totally irrelevant to your situation, but worth a shot at least. Other than that, you've got pretty much the same as my setup there.

Hmm yeah, using upload all on my copy gives a mirror of your uninformative server reponse tab, just doesn't say anything at all, so maybe that's the issue.

Not the most obvious one at all... sometime when I've got more time I might put a thread on the general forum saying exactly what settings you need to use to not break it...

The most annoying thing is that "Upload All Accounts" was the default setting, IIRC.. This means a lot of people can get this problem...

Yeah, I'm sure it wasn't on older versions, but the newer one seems to have added a few things that don't play well with this site - the secure password was also checked by default when I installed it (again, wasn't on older versions or I'd remember having issues with it!) Wonder how many others are getting the same issues

hello guys,

iam new to the site, i started using the census info after i was told by a friend about the site.i needed to check someones guild history and warcraftrealms did the job

after using the info a few times and looking around the site a little, i decided that i wanted to help with the census info , its only fair to give back to a site that i have taken from.

i have downloaded the latest version of the mod....V4.3.1. it is installed and i have taken 2 census readings over the past few days.

here is my problem. i cant seem to upload the data. i have completely exited the game. gone to the wowrealms website and clicked on the upload button. i have selected the '' censusplus.lua '' file and tried to upload but i get this screen

Hi madkiller, and welcome! This may sound too obvious to you, but can you doublecheck that you are uploading the censusplus.lua file found at World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\[youraccountname]\SavedVariables\Censusplus.lua? And not the one in the Interface\Addons\Censusplus folder? That's a fairly common cause for similar problems, it's pretty easy to mix up the two files with the same name!

once i actually paid attention to what i was doing...it seems your right, i was uploading the wrong file.

And don't feel too bad, you're definitely not the first to do that and I'm sure you won't be the last
