I don't know how many quests into "the Jade Forest" before I realized.. that I had been at 85 level cap.. and wasn't moving up to level 86!
6 days to finish off leveling WotLK and all of Cataclysm...
I've touched all of my main account characters and guilds. now what...
I guess I'll find a realm that I haven't maxed.. and start a monk.
Mop 10 day trial...

Although you won't want to waste the quests by questing while at cap, you might enjoy wandering round and exploring a little, at 85 you'll be perfectly safe in Jade Forest and Valley of the Four Winds, plus the Tavern in the Mists area. Krasarang and Kun'lai are safe enough too as long as you don't explore massive packs of mobs - or the Sha of Anger (worldboss) 
Valley of the Four Winds is probably my favourite zone lookswise, the big farming area looks fantastic, totally different to most places, and very few hostile mobs makes it all the better (great place to skill mining!)

I did notice mining nodes while questing in the Jade Forest and I even killed a Rare (Kor'nas Nightsavage) for a nice drop.
Not that it matters much since I was on my Tailor/Enchanter, but I was marking nodes for my Gatherer database.
(I know it is weird..I would rather discover the nodes then just download a preloaded data file.)
Oddly Even though I happened to see in Wowpedia.org the herb nodes.. I never saw a single node while in the forest!
I don't think I'll spend much more then a day on a monk.. just not really interested in that class.
I expect I'll spend the last few days of my trial back on my T/E... working Cata mobs for the cloth drops.. so I can bolt the MoP cloth and send bags back to other toons.. for the next time I spend time in and about Azeroth.
