Desktop update client

Not sure if this has been suggested already, and if so, I appologize...

Would it be possible to have some sort of desktop app that would post census data to the website? Much like the thottbot update feature that's in the Cosmos app...

Anyone seen anything like this?

i couldnt get UniUploader to work. it kept saying i had to start WoW then shutdown and restart WoW for it to work.

You should not ever HAVE to start wow for it to work.
