Uniloader has a trojan virus

Post by Eyeball-Dragonmaw »

Today my Mcaffee found this Trojan virus on my UniUploader uninstaller, installer, the zip file, all my previous saved RESTORES, and my Recycle files so the only way to get rid of it is with the virus software otherwise nothing else will get rid of it. This may explain why Uniloader was acting strange when I tried to uninstall it the other day, and download the new version.

I don't quite understand it, but it seems that the main reason for this Trojan Virus is to keep you from uninstalling UniUploader so it may have been put in there by the Author of the program.

Two questions, were you using the DAT that they mentioned had issues with false positives or a later one where they actually identify the trojan correctly?

Where did you download your Uniuploader from?

I only downloaded it from the wowprofilers site.

I don't really know what dats I was using, but it found 11 files infected which were are my UniUploader files, all my windows/system/restore files, and my Recycle files which were all related to Uniuploader.
